JK: Army jawan killed in firing across border
Jammu, Sep 1: An army jawan was killed in firing from across the border along the LoC in Poonch district on Tuesday, Sep 1, official sources said.
The official sources also said that suspected militants opened fire from across the border at Tata Post following which troops retaliated.
Jawan identified as Jang Bahadur of 2nd Gorkha rifle was critically injured and later died in the district, 230 kms from Jammu.
