Gunbattle in Srinagar: Two CRPF personnel killed

Srinagar, Aug 31: Two CRPF personnel were killed and seven others were injured on Monday, Aug 31, in a shootout in Srinagar's Lal Chowk area.

Militants reportedly attacked the CRPF the bunkers in the heart of the city, a media report said.

The report also said that the CRPF are sensing that the militants may have slipped into the market and could be hiding there.

They are also expecting yet another open fire from these militants, hence are keeping tight vigil in the area.
