Transcend flash drives compatible with Windows 7
New Delhi, Aug 28: Transcend's JetFlash USB Flash Drives have passed the Windows 7 compatibility testing and will now bear the 'Compatible with Windows 7' logo, the company announced on Friday, Aug 28.
Windows 7 is the latest version of the Microsoft Window's Operating system was released with an intention of introducing a more evolved and an upgraded Windows product.
The OS also aims at being compatible with applications and hardware that are designed for use with its predecessor Windows Vista.
Mr Austin Huang, Regional Head - Sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend, said, "We always strive to keep pace with technology. Our incessant R&D has made our products highly acceptable in the market. Now that Microsoft is launching its latest version of Windows operating system, Transcend users can freely use their USB flash drives on Windows 7 computers without worrying about compatibility issues."
Transcend's V Series, T Series and Hi-speed Series JetFlash USB Flash Drives have all been confirmed to achieve Microsoft's strict standards for Windows 7 which is being well-received than the earlier OS Vista, the company informed in a statement.
