Retail sale of Tamiflu soon to start
New Delhi, Aug 28: A NDTV report revealed that the government on Friday, Aug 28 announced that it would allow the retail sale of Tamiflu, an antiviral drug, which decelerates the spread of H1N1 virus.
Six companies have been allowed to sell Tamiflu.

The government hoped that this would help prescribed people to buy the drug from designated chemist shops and prevent its sale in black market.
On Thursday, Aug 27, Dinesh Trivedi, the State Minister for Health had announced that the governmnet would allow restricted sale of Tamiflu.
Till date India recorded 80 Swine Flu deaths.
