Premji re-appointed as Wipro Chairman till 2011
Mumbai, Aug 28: Software major Wipro said its current Chairman and Managing Director Azim Premji has been re-appointed for the post for further two-year period till Jul 2011.
"The shareholders of the company have given their approval for the re-appointment of Azim Premji as Chairman and Managing Director until Jul 30, 2011," Wipro said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
