Karsaz bombing perpetrators may be behind Benazir's assassination: Khosa
Islamabad, Aug.28 (ANI): Pakistan Attorney General Latif Khosa has said that the masterminds of the October, 2007 Karsaz bombing in Karachi may also have been involved in former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination.
Interacting with media persons after meeting the two members of the UN commission probing Bhutto's assassination, Khosa said the commission was doing a 'wonderful job' and it has a mandate to complete the probe within six months.
"The commission has been given a 'free hand' to interrogate anyone," The Daily Times quoted Khosa, as saying.
When asked that whether the government has asked the commission to quiz former President General Pervez Musharraf, Khosa said : " don't know whether Musharraf is a suspect in Benazir's murder or not."
He, however, refused to divulge details of the meeting. (ANI)
