26/11 Trial: Key witness goes missing
Mumbai, Aug 28: Nurudin Shaikh, a key witness in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case has gone missing, the prosecution told the special court on Friday, Aug 28.
Shaikh who was summoned by the court for cross examination failed to appear in the court.
On Thursday, Aug 27, Shaikh gave details about the accused Faheem and Sabauddin. He told the court that the two men had met him in Nepal where they were discussing about the maps of some locations in Mumbai.
These locations were targeted in the 26/11 terror attacks in 2008, he had reportedly told the special court.
The court had directed the witness to come on Friday, Aug 28 for cross-examination at 11 but he did not turn up.
