SC judges decide to make their assets public

New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): Supreme Court judges have decided to make their assets public on the apex court's website after a two-hour meeting here on Wednesday evening.

Chief Justice of India Justice KG Balakrishnan, who was not in favour of judges revealing their assets for public information, finally agreed on disclosure of assets of judges, a news channel quoted a source, as saying.

The sources said that Justice Balakrishnan changed his mind after a few judges went public with their assets.

Former Attorney General of India Soli Sorabjee called the decision to make judges' assets public "a radical change". (ANI)
