Melbourne, Aug 26 (ANI): Father's Day has been ranked the lowest in regard to the amount spent on gifts on special days, according to a survey.

In the survey conducted by Visa Prepaid, almost 70 percent of respondents said they spent the most amount of money on presents for partner's birthday.

Father's Day falls way behind spending on a partner's birthday, for which 70 per cent of respondents said they spent the most amount of money on presents, reports The Courier Mail.

It also came behind Mother's Day (15 per cent) and even Easter (nine per cent), leaving only six per cent who spent the most on their dad, the study found.

Visa general manager (Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific) Chris Clark said in a statement: "Fathers are notoriously difficult to buy for, which probably explains the results of this survey."

However, as far as the wish list is concerned thirty-seven per cent of dads wished for a LCD TV for Father's Day and 14 per cent wanted a ride in a Ferrari or a date with actress Angelina Jolie. (ANI)
