London salon offering œ20,000 daylong hair pampering session

London, Aug 25 (ANI): A London salon is offering a daylong hair and pampering treatment, which will cost a whopping 20,000 pounds.

The salon in Covent Garden, owned by leading hair stylist Stuart Phillips, has become a hit particularly with the wives of Russian oligarchs, who do not mind spending their money despite the recession.

And the package includes the full attention of Phillips, as well as the possibility of security teams, personal chefs and a luxury car to collect them from the airport or their home.

"Some clients pay 20,000 pounds but for that they get my undivided attention. I am available for the whole day and they have the best of everything," the Telegraph quoted Phillips as saying.

He added: "I have had to provide everything from security teams and bodyguards, exotic and expensive oils to wash through the client's hair, interpreters, personal chefs, special scents put through the ventilation system, and even dog walkers to entertain their pets."

The costly pampering session also include a shiatsu acupressure head massage or body massage before the cut, while the salon also offers an hour-long lifestyle consultation.

And friends of clients can also receive a haircut for a discounted 8,000 pounds.

Although Phillips agreed that the price was high, he said: "All you need to do is compare other expensive non-essential things. A client said she will spend 3,000 pounds on a handbag and she has over a hundred." (ANI)
