Written by: Staff

Jaipur, Aug 20: To end all speculations and theories over Rajmata Gayatri Devi's inheritance, her grandchildren Lalitya Kumari and Devraj on Wednesday, Aug 19 held a press conference to make a formal announcement that they have been given the entire inheritance.

Maharani of Jaipur reportedly left her last will with her step son, Bhawani Singh. It was Bhawani Singh who handed over the will to the grandchildren and it is believed that he will be acting as the executor of the will.

30-year-old Lalitya Kumari said that they were the natural heirs and entitled to succeed to her state. Reading from a statement, Kumari said, "We sincerely hope to receive full support of all family members - Brig Bhawani Singh, Prithviraj and Jai Singh."

Details regarding when the will was written or when it was handed over to the grandchildren, and estimate of the inheritance were not revealed.
