New Delhi, Aug 19: Speaking at a press conference after being expelled from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for praising Jinnah, Jaswant Singh expressed regret over the decision taken by his party to sack him over a book that the BJP leaders have not even read..

Saddened over being expelled from the party that he worked for 30 years, Singh said " I was the Hanuman of BJP and now I am the Ravan of BJP."

He said that he expected basic courtesy from LK Advani and Rajnath Singh who should have informed him in person instead of sacking him over the phone.

The stalwart leader who went to Shimla where the party's 'Chintan Baithak' was taking place, also said that it would have been better if he was informed of the party's decision in Delhi.

Even though he was sacked for writing a book, he said that he does not regret writing it. The hurt leader also said loud and clear that he had commented "no sin what so ever against India".

The BJP on Wednesday, Aug 19 expelled Jaswant Singh for praising Pakistan founder, Mohammad Ali Jinnah in his new book.
