Shimla, Aug 19: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have arranged for a three day 'Chintan baithak', an introspection meeting beginning from Wednesday, Aug 19 to sort out various issues like Lok Sabha defeat and internal issues causing drift in the party.

On the eve of the brainstorming session, top leaders have gathered in Shimla to discuss matters like former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje's recent defiance of party high command order and Darjeeling MP Jaswant's Singh's praise of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in his book.

Raje recently disagreed to give up her position as the Leader of Opposition while Singh in his recent book has appreciated Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Both the incidents have drawn criticism from the Sangh Parivar.

The party shall also discuss Bal Apte committee report, which discussed BJP's defeat in the recent Lok Sabha polls. The meeting, which would be attended by top leaders like LK Adavni and President Rajnath Singh would also decide on the structural organization of the party and its succession.
