Gujarat ropes in pvt hospital to handle H1N1 cases

Ahmedabad, Aug 17: In an attempt to be prepared for a wide-spread Swine Flu outbreak in the state, Gujarat has started accrediting private hospitals and labs to screen and treat the flu or H1N1 Influenza.

Out of the nine private hospitals that are prepared to handle Swine flu cases, five have been approved by the government authorities, said Jaynarayan Vyas, the health minister of Gujarat.

These five hospitals include:
