Ludhiana, Aug.15 (ANI): A man in Ludhiana pushed a bus, weighing 3,500 kilogram or 35 quintals, upto 10 feet using an iron rod on the eve of Independence Day (Aug.14).

Rakesh Sharma attempted this daredevil act to earn a place in the record books. The iron rod was placed around his neck.

"This is my 'world record'. I created this record today to mark the occasion of 15 August because before this a person in England created a world record by pushing a vehicle weighing 17 quintals. So I want my country's name to be on top of the list. I want to register this record of mine in Guinness Book of World Records," said Rakesh Sharma, the daredevil perform.

After pushing the bus on Friday, Rakesh dedicated the feat to celebration of India's 63rd Independence Day.

Sharma already holds various records under his name in the Limca and Guinness Book of World Records.

Previously, he had lifted a five-kilogram-weight attached to his eyes and had pulled a motorcycle with his ears.

Besides, his world record attempt, Rakesh has done 96 push ups with one hand within a minute and wants to build up a capacity of pulling heavier weights with just one ear. By Karan Kapoor (ANI)
