Teacher grooms 13yr-old girl on Internet before having sex with her

London, Aug 14 (ANI): A Brit teacher allegedly groomed a 13-year-old girl on an Internet chatroom before having sex with her.

A court heard on August 13 that science master Matthew Knott, 24, who taught physics and chemistry lessons at Elton High School in Bury, Lancs, swapped emails with the girl, even though she was not a pupil of the school.

Knott has admitted to sexual activity with a child and sexual grooming, but has denied a rape allegation, which will remain on file, reports the Sun.

Manchester Crown Court judge Michael Henshell warned him he faces jail when he is sentenced next month. (ANI)
