New Delhi, Aug 14: in what comes as an interesting revelation, the people of Pakistan consider US as a bigger threat than India. According to a survey conducted by the media house, Al Jazeera English, 59 per cent of the Pakistanis view US as the biggest adversary to the country.

The survey which was done in the last week of Jul 2009 has a huge sample of 2,662 people. The survey studied the attitudes of both the rural and the urban population in the four provinces of Punjab.

Out of those who were questioned, only 18 per cent considered India as an enemy.

However, this result is different from the 2004 Gallup survey which showed that 72 percent Pakistanis thought India was their country's main enemy.

The change in attitudes may be the direct result of the drone attacks launched by the United States in what they call the fight against terror.
