Models walk the ramp in Nagpur to spread swine flu awareness

Nagpur, Aug 13 (ANI): In wake of rising number of cases of swine flu in the country, models walked the ramp here to spread awareness about the H1N1 virus amongst the masses.

The models wore protective masks and carried placards to send across the message to take precaution and care to keep themselves protected.

"Our message was that people should take precaution regarding swine flu. Since it is spreading fast, the people should take proper care," said Divya Tande, a model.

The models said that their main aim has been to urge the people not to panic but exercise caution.

"We want to spread the message amongst the people that they should exercise precaution against swine flu and keep their surroundings and themselves clean," said Anjali, another model.

As on Thursday, the swine flu toll has risen to 18. (ANI)
