Colgate issues 1st interim dividend of Rs 8/share

New Delhi, Aug 13: Colgate-Palmolive India Limited on Thursday, Aug 13 has officially declared a first interim dividend for the Financial Year 2009-10 of Rs. 8 per share of Re 1 each (face value).

According to the press release issued by the company, the dividend payout to the shareholders will be Rs 108.8 Cr (Rs 127.3 Cr inclusive of the dividend distribution tax) and will be paid on or about September 4, 2009 to those shareholders whose names are on the Register of Members of the Company as on Aug 21, 2009.

The company which is the leading provider of oral care products declared a total dividend of Rs 15 per share for the year ended Mar 31, 2009.
