US invites Chidambaram for in-depth discussion on war against terrorism
New Delhi, Aug 12 (ANI): Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram has been invited by the United States for an in-depth discussions on cooperation of New Delhi and Washington to fight terrorism.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, US Ambassador to India Timothy Roemer said "We will continue to seek justice for those killed and injured in 26/11 attacks and we will work closely with India to share with you the lessons we learned in the wake of our tragic terror attacks of 9/11."
The Pakistani terrorists in Mumbai killed more than a dozen US citizens on 26/11 last year.
Roemer explained that the US wants to have an additional precise discussion on the mutual cooperation of both the countries in the war against terrorism with Chidambaram.
The US stands firmly with India in the fight against terrorism, Roemer said. (ANI)
