Swedish princess thought to be Wills' potential mate gets hitched
London, August 12 (ANI): Princess Madeleine of Sweden, who was briefly argued as a possible replacement for Prince William's girlfriend during his temporarily split from Kate Middleton, has announced her engagement.
The 27-year-old daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia is set to tie the knot with lawyer Jonas Bergstroem, Sweden's royal palace announced.
The couple had been dating for seven years though wedding plans were said to be far from sight, reports the Telegraph.
Princess Madeleine will allegedly walk down the aisle after her elder sister, Crown Princess Victoria, weds Daniel Westling, a 35-year-old entrepreneur, in June next year. (ANI)
