I'm not going to be channeling my husband: Hillary

Kinshasa (Congo), Aug 11: The new US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton who meets the world with a smile lost her temper when a Congolese university student asked what her husband thought about an international financial matter.

Hillary Clinton, who is the wife of the former US President Bill Clinton was on visit to Africa, snapped when a student raised a question about a multi billion-dollar Chinese loan offer to Congo.

"My husband is not secretary of state, I am. I am not going to be channeling my husband," she said.

"If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband," she said angrily.

Bill Clinton's recent 'rescue operation' in North Korea where he succeeded in bringing back the two jailed American journalists gave his popularity a huge boost. Hillary the now US Secretary of state has been the face and voice of US foreign policy, but she was evidently tired of her husband's name overshadowing her.
