Swine Flu scare: Delhi school shut for a week
New Delhi, Aug 10: The Junior Modern School on Monday, Aug 10 has decided to close down for week after two students of class III tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri and Delhi Public School in East of Kailash have decided to close down for a week after a student each from the educational institutions tested positive for swine flu.
Delhi Cheif Minister, Sheila Dikshit on Sunday, Aug 9 said that the government will issue an advisory to all schools to take precautionary measures but will not issue any instruction to close schools.
She also said, "The people of Delhi should not panic that there is a big outbreak of swine flu. But they should take precautions...We appeal to the families of victims to maintain quarantine and wear masks to prevent spread of the disease."
