M'rashtra: Cinema halls, malls shut for 3 days

Mumbai, Aug 10: To contain the rapidly spreading Swine Flu or H1N1 influenza the Maharashtra government has decided to close down schools, colleges for an entire week and shut cinema halls, malls for three days.

Since the first death of Rida Sheikh Pune is being perceived as the epicenter of Swine Flu. Just after a week, the death of a 35-year-old Ayurvedic doctor on Monday, Aug 10 was reported.

Three out of the six swine flu deaths have taken place in the state of Maharashtra triggering off this reaction from the state government.

Earlier, states like Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan issued a travel advisory asking the people to not travel to the state.
