Azad meets govt officials to tackle Swine Flu
New Delhi, Aug 10: Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad discussed the measures to prevent the spread of Swine flu with cabinet secretary K M Chandrasekhar on Monday, Aug 10.
The meeting came soon after two more Swine flu deaths were reported in the country. The meeting was also attended by health secretary Naresh Dayal.
Swine flu has so far claimed six lives. On Monday, Aug 10, a 35-year-old ayurvedic doctor in Pune and a four-year-old boy in Chennai died due to the Swine flu.
Earlier, on Sunday, Aug 9, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had also asked Health Minister to take steps to remove misinformation and educate people about the disease.
