26/11 attacks: Pak claims bodies of 4 terrorists
New Delhi, Aug 10: According to the latest media reports, Pakistan has officially claimed the dead bodies of four terrorists who were killed during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.
Totally, there are about nine bodies of terrorists who were shot dead by the Mumbai security forces during the attack launched by them in the country's financial capital which killed above 150 people. Pakistan has, however, not asked for the bodies of the remaining five terrorists.
This move by Pakistan indicates the involvement of Pakistani nationals in the in the terror attacks which goes against the country's earlier claims denying the involvement of Pakistanis in the attacks.
This development comes a day after the Maharashtra government made a fresh request to Pakistan to take back the bodies citing the confession made by the lone terrorist detained in India, Ajmal Amir Kasab.
"We are again going to request Pakistan to take back the bodies of the terrorists," Maharashtra Home Minister Jayant Patil said on Aug 9.
