NY: Helicopter, plane crash over Hudson, kills 9
New York, Aug 9: At least nine people were killed when a small plane and sightseeing helicopter collided and fell into the Hudson River on Saturday, Aug 8
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said, "The crash victims include five Italian tourists and a pilot on the helicopter and three people on the plane, including a child. He also said that officials believe that accident was 'not survivable'
Two bodies have been recovered in the water, one floating free and one in the wreckage. Other bodies have been spotted in the debris.
Mayor also said, "It's fair to say that this has changed from a rescue to a recovery mission." The cause of the crash wasn't immediately clear, but the National Transportation Safety Board was investigating, Bloomberg added.
