Corporation Bank to recruit 1,400 this fiscal

New Delhi, Aug 6: Corporation Bank is planning to recruit about 1,400 employees in the current fiscal, said chairman and managing director of the Bank, Mr JM Garg on Thursday, Aug 6.

The state owned bank is also planning to add about 100 branches in the financial year, Mr Garg said. The bank has successfully opened up 25 new branches in the April-June quarter.

The total number of branches would go up to 1,150 by the end of March 2010 if the new 100 branches are opened in the fiscal.
