Four militants killed in Jammu Kashmir encounter
Srinagar, Aug 5: Four ultras were killed in two separate encounters with security forces in Kashmir valley on Wednesday, Aug 4.
A defence spokesman said that a group of heavily-armed militants from across the border entered into Tangdhar, 130 kms, in short time, the army troops confronted them and in the ensuing firefight two militants were killed.

He also added that the army troops launched a search operation in Didan Gali in Pirpanjal sector of South Kashmir.
As the troops were engaged in combing operation, militants hiding there opened fire on the troops, the spokesman said adding "the gun battle was going on but there were no reports of casualties so far."
