Doda Encounter: Hizbul Mujahideen militant killed

Jammu, Aug 5: in an encounter in Kupwara, Doda the security forces have reportedly shot dead a top Hizbul Mujahideen militant who had infiltrated into the India about sic weeks ago.

The police and army forces launched a joint search operation in Behota-Marmat area of the district based on a tip off.

The Hizbul Mujahideen identified as Noor Mohammed alias Mansoor was killed in a fierce gunbattle between the forces and the militant.

The forces have recovered an AK rifle and three magazines from the militant.
