Islamabad, Aug.3 (ANI): Emphasising Pakistan's 'victory' over India at Sharm-el-Sheikh in Egypt, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani told members of the National Assembly here on Monday that he had managed to uphold Islamabad's interests and claimed the upper hand in talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
During the course of his address to lawmakers, Gilani triumphantly claimed that for the first time he had convinced New Delhi to include Balochistan in a joint statement.
He also claimed that he succeeded in getting India to agree to de-link action on terror from the composite dialogue process.
Gilani also said that the Kashmir issue was discussed with Prime Minister Singh. New Delhi, on the hand, has maintained that Kashmir was specifically not discussed.
He said Pakistan's relationship with India should be on equal footing.
Indian Government has maintained that there will be no composite dialogue till Pakistan takes action in stopping the export of terror from its soil. (ANI)
