First Indian woman dies of Swine Flu in Singapore

Kaula Lumpur, Aug 3: A 29-year-old Indian woman, who was suffering from deadly Swine flu virus, died on Sunday, Aug 2 in a city hospital in Singapore.

According to the Straits Times, the woman, who was suffering from flu-like symptoms for the last four hours, was admitted to the Changi General Hospital on Jul 25 after becoming unconscious.

Reports said that the woman was also suffering from obesity. Doctors have warned that obesity can lead to respiratory complication in patients with Swine flu.

However, no deaths have been reported within India yet, but Pune, which is considered the worst affected cities in India, got its 100th confirmed case on Sunday, Aug 2.
