Sarah Palin dismisses divorce rumours

Washington, August 2 (ANI): Sarah Palin has dismissed rumours that she is getting a divorce from husband Todd and moving to Montana.

The former Alaska's governor's spokeswoman Meg Stapleton posted on social networking site Facebook that the report on the net was false, the Politico reports.

She wrote: "Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent 'story' (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing.

"The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island)."

The rumour had spread after many websites and bloggers picked up the misguided information from Alaskan blog "The Immoral Minority," by someone who calls himself "Gryphen".

The blogger mentions on his blog that he is a 49-year-old male in Anchorage.

However, he hasn't responded to an email message sent to the Yahoo account listed on the blog asking for his name. (ANI)
