Pakistan Navy receives Chinese warship
Karachi, Jul 31: China has reportedly handed over the first of the four F-22P Frigate to Pakistan Navy.
According to a press release issued by the navy, the warship was delivered to the Navy in a ceremony at Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai on Thursday, Jul 30.
The commissioning of the the ship took place at the ceremony in which the Pakistani flag was hoisted on the ship, in the presence of naval officers from both the countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Naval Chief Noman Bashir said that the ties between the two countries has grown over the years and added that Pakistan was proud of its close association with China.
The chief said that the unique relationship shared between Pakistan and China could not be compared to any other ties in the world.
