Four held for kidnap & murder of Class XI student

New Delhi, Jul 30: Four persons were arrested by the Delhi police in connection with kidnap and brutal murder of 16-year-old Ribhu Chawla.

The Delhi police have identified the four accused as Rishi, Manni, Gaurav and Rocky and were arrested in the early morning raids in Delhi and Haryana.

Police recovered Ribbu's mobile, which the abductors were using. The police also seized the Wagon R car used in the crime. Interrogation of the four revealed that Rocky was known to Ribhu, while the other three accused were Rocky' friends.

Ribhu Chawla, Class XI student of K R Mangalam World School in Vikaspuri was found dead in Vasant Kunj in south Delhi at around 9:30 AM on Wednesday, Jul 29.

The victim, Ribhu Chawla, was the only child of a venture capitalist, was kidnapped on Tuesday, Jul 29 and was killed despite a part of the Rs 20 lakh ransom being reportedly paid.
