New Delhi, Jul 29: Prime Minister Manmonhan Singh is said to end the controversy of Indo-Pak statement on Wednesday, Jul 29 in Parliament.
Manmohan Singh will clarify the government's stand on the two issues of delinking terror from composite dialogue and Balochistan.
PM is likely to make a strong case for what he signed in Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt. Sources said, that he would give reasons why Balochistan was put in the joint statement besides defending the formulation hyphenating terror and talks.
Sources also said, "PM will also argue that Balochistan"s mention was in no way an acknowledgment of Pakistan"s charge that India was fomenting trouble in its backyard."
The PM has strongly defended the hyphenation of terror and dialogue, saying it ordered upon Pakistan to act against India-centric terror infrastructure irrespective of the status of bilateral dialogue.
