New Delhi, Jul 29: After writing a letter to the Prime Minister alleging that the Oil Ministry was favouring his brother, Mukesh Ambani in the RIL-RNRL gas dispute, Anil Ambani went public with his accusations.

Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of RNRL, Anil Ambani launched an attack against the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) Managing Director and his borher, Mukesh Ambani saying that RIL has shown dishonourable conduct in persistently refusing to honour the gas supply contract.

He also alleged that company was trying to make an outrageous profit at the cost of power and fertiliser sectors in the country.

Reaffirming that the Petroleum Ministry was siding with his borhter, Anil Ambani said, "The Petroleum Ministry has publicly sought to justify escalated intervention on the ground that it did not know the terms of RIL-RNRL gas arrangement."

Anil Ambani's Reliance Natural Resources Limited (RNRL) is fighting for the gas in the KG Basin with Mukesh Ambani's RIL. Oil Ministry too stepped into the conflict stating that the natural resource found in the basin belongs to the government.

A few weeks back, Anil Ambani wrote a letter to the PM, Manmohan Singh alleging that the Oil Ministry was siding with RIL and requested him to direct the ministry against doing it.
