Texas: Mother decapitates and eats newborn

Texas, Jul 28: In a freakish incident, a mother allegedly decapitated her newborn baby, ate pieces of the body.

The Texan mother, Otty Sanchez was covered in blood when the police arrived at the place where she had killed her baby. And she was screaming, "I killed my baby, I want to die," the police said.

Police spokesman Joe Rios said, "She mentioned that someone or something told her to do it and she was hearing voices, so that leads us to believe she was experiencing some kind of mental crisis."

According to a news agency report, the woman had separated from the child's father about a week ago. She was living with her mother and sister who were helping her take care of her baby.

Born on Jun 30, the baby was just a three week old tot.
