Orissa's tribal students meet Korean counterparts in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, July 27 (ANI): An interaction with South Korean students was an enlightening experience for Orissa's tribal school children.

The visit by Hanseo University's students to Bhubaneswar, which is a part of the students exchange programme, is aimed at providing them an insight into the lives of these kids who come from small and underdeveloped regions of the state.

The students attended the classes, tried their hands at needlework and sewing and also danced and sang with the school kids.

"What they learn and how they lead their life and I want to help them and support so I came here," said Shin Na-Ri, a Korean student.

For children coming from poverty-ridden background, the interaction was a unique experience.

"We all have come from small places and had not even thought that we will get a chance to interact with somebody from South Korea who would come to visit us, interact with us, it feels really good," said Jyotsna Majhi, a tribal student.

This group of Korean students will be visiting once a year to any country for studying the cultural, economic, social life of tribal and backward classes. (ANI)
