London, July 25 (ANI): A UK employment tribunal has been told that a dentist, who forced his nurse to quit after their nine-year affair was discovered by his wife, had offered to pay her 100,000 pounds to leave her hubby.
Tariq Drabu, had showered Paula Jackson, 45, with cash and expensive jewellery during their affair, and he offered her the huge amount if she would resign and walk out on her husband.
He had even opened two credit card accounts in the mother-of-two's name and sworn on the Koran he would leave his wife so they could be together.
He also told her he wanted her to be his second wife, the hearing was told.
"He said if I left my husband he would buy an apartment with me, buy me a car, give me a clothes allowance and buy me an engagement ring," the Sun quoted a fuming Jackson as saying.
"He effectively said I could have anything I wanted and eventually he'd leave his wife," she added.
But the dentist's psychiatrist wife Dr. Suraya Drabu discovered the affair.
Jackson, who during the nine-year affair rose to become practice manager at Langley Dental Group, said that she was "bullied" into quitting her job in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester.
She sued for constructive dismissal, which Drabu admitted. The dad of two told the Manchester hearing he was in emotional "turmoil".
Jackson has been forgiven by her hubby of 27 years Malcolm.
"It's been humiliating," she added. (ANI)
