Himanshu Sabharwal's aid killed in Delhi

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): Parminder Kumar, an aide and accountant of Himanshu Sabharwal, son of Professor Sabharwal, who was lynched in Ujjain, was killed in Delhi on Friday.

According to Himanshu, Parminder was stabbed to death in the Maurice Nagar area this morning.

Parminder was with him until yesterday night when they were pasting posters in the Delhi University for a protest march against the acquittal of the killers of Professor Sabharwal.

Himanshu said that the men behind his father's murder are responsible for Parminder's killing too.

The Delhi Police have registered a case of murder. And, Himanshu is being questioned in Maurice Nagar Police Station regarding the murder.

Professor Sabharwal, the head of the political science department of Ujjain's Madhav College, died on August 26, 2006 from lung and rib injuries after being beaten up by ABVP activists.

He was trying to convince students about the need for postponing the college union elections. (ANI)
