Q1: Bharti Airtel net up by 22 pc

New Delhi, Jul 23: Bharti Airtel has posted the results for the first quarter (Q1) ended Jun 30, 2009 on Thursday, Jul 23.

Sunil Mittal-led telecom company has reported a rise of 22.21 per cent in quarterly net profit at Rs 2,647.95 crore.

In its filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company recorded a net profit after minority interest of Rs 2,166.68 crore in the June quarter of last fiscal.

The private sector telecom operator's income rose to Rs 10,429.94 crore accounting for a raise of 22.62 per cent (QoQ).
