India denies receiving any dossier from Pak

New Delhi, Jul 23: India has denied receiving any dossier from Pakistan that claims that India was behind the Lahore attack against the Sri Lankan Cricket team along with blaming India for the unrest in Balochistan.

Answering a question on the issue, the Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor on Thursday, Jul 23 said that India has not received any dossier from the neighbour, Pakistan.

"India is not interested in destabilising Pakistan. It is a propaganda by the media in Pakistan," said Tharoor.

On Wednesday, Jul 22, a Pakistan daily had reported that the country had given India a dossier allegedly containing 'comprehensive evidence' of Indian involvement in several terrorist acts on its soil, including the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.

According to the Dawn report, the details of 'India's involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan' was given to Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh by his Pakistani counterpart, Yousuf Raza Gilani at the NAM summit in Egypt.

An Indian High Commission official reportedly told the media, that the one dossier handed over to India by Pakistan was the one related to the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks which admitted the role of LeT in the attacks along with confirming that the lone terrorist detained in India, Ajmal Kasab was a Pakistani.
