Fazlullah resurfaces on his illegal FM radio

Peshawar, July 19 (ANI): While news about him being seriously injured and nearing his death are doing rounds, Swat Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah aka Radio Mullah has once again been heard over his illegal FM radio station.

According to residents of Mingora, the largest town of the Valley, Fazlullah was heard making announcements on his illegal frequency three to four days back.

"Fazlullah was heard on his illegal FM radio channel three or four days ago," The Daily Times quoted a resident, as saying.

However, it could not be confirmed that the broadcast was live or a pre-recorded one.

Residents said that Fazlullah seemed to have lost his aggressive drive which used to be there earlier.

"You can feel as if the operation has taken the sting out of him," they said.

It may be noted that both the Pakistan Army and the government have been claiming that Fazlullah has been grievously injured in the ongoing military offensive.

The BBC had also reported that Fazlullah was on his 'death bed' after being hit in two airstrikes. (ANI)
