Bangalore, Jul 17: A Times of India news report brings good news to the students of Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and those to aspire to get admitted in these institutions. Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) have reportedly started pouring in for the graduating class of 2010.

At Bangalore, all the students have received PPOs from the consulting firms which participated in the summer placement.

"IIM-Bangalore is the only IIM with a 100% success rate till now. While this speak highly about the institution as a brand, credit must be given to students and their calibre too. The success rate is actually better than last year's," Vineet Sharma, placement representative, IIM-B was quoted as saying in the report.

IIM-Calcutta students too have been greeted with offers from across sectors, including FMCGs. Even though the specific numbers of these offers are not known, the management said that the numbers were positive.

The students from IIM-Indore, have started receiving PPOs from mid-June. These students are getting offers from marketing and finance sectors. Saying that the numbers are increasing, sources at placement committee, IIM-I said that the numbers are expected to go up later this year.
