Photo Contest for Professionals and Amateurs

Bangalore, Jul 16: Indus Pride, a malt beverage company has invited all the passionate photographers to participate in a Photo Contest on the theme of 'The passions of Karnataka through my eyes'.

The first of its kind photo contest is being held by Indus Pride in association with Epson India Pvt Ltd. The contest has two categories, one for the professional press photographers or photo-journalists, and second for the amateur photographers.

On the event, the well known photographer and the judge for the contest, Raghu Rai said, “Passion is what drives a photographer to capture the most beautiful shots through his lens – In my life I have waited for days to capture just the right kind of magical moment but the effort was worth its" while... Photography is passion personified just like Indus Pride which captures passion in a bottle.“

The entry forms for the content are available at the Perfect Relations Office in Bangalore. The applicants are expected to fill in the forms for enlistment process.

The last date for submitting the entries is Aug 31, 2009 and the results will be out in Sep 2009.

The winner will be awarded with a SLR cmaera and a trophy while the runner up will get an Epson photo printer.
