Hizbul Mujahideen militant shot dead in Jammu encounter
Jammu, July 14 (ANI): A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Reasi district on Tuesday.
According to defence sources, one militant got killed during the operation launched by Rashtriya Rifle troops in Mahore area.
The militant was identified as Bashir Ahmed Sheikh alias Jan Baaz alias Ghulam Ullah.
An AK 56 rifle, 80 AK rounds and three AK magazines were recovered, they added.
The area has been cordoned off and search operations launched to ensure that no more militant is hiding in the area. (ANI)
