Three cranes topple at Delhi Metro mishap site

New Delhi, Jul 13: At least three cranes collapsed, injuring 6 workers at the Delhi Metro bridge accident site on Monday, Jul 13 when clearing operations were on at the site.

Reports said that six workers were injured in the second mishap at the Metro construction site at Zamroodpur near Amar colony in South Delhi and no causalities were reported.

The six workers were injured when the cranes collapsed after the steel 'launching girder' that holds up the elevated bridge also came crashing down during relief operations. They were rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre.
