15 including 7 children killed in Pak blast
Islamabad, July 13 (ANI): At least 15 people including seven children were killed and several others injured in a powerful bomb blast in Mian Channu region of Punjab province in Pakistan on Monday.
According to sources, the blast occurred in a house where several children had gathered for religious education.
The blast was so powerful that it also destroyed about 150 houses located in the region.
The injured have been admitted to the tehsil headquarter hospital, and relief and rescue work is going on in full swing at the incident site, The News reports.
The casualty figure may rise, as several people are still feared trapped in the rubble.
No information was received regarding the cause of the blast till reports last filtered in. (ANI)
