Afghanistan: 6 Indians killed in Taliban attack

Islamabad, Jul 11: In an attack carried out by the Afghan Taliban on Friday, Jul 10 night at least 18 people were killed out of which six were Indians.

According to a a Pakistani TV news channel, the attack took place on an Indian construction company in Afghanistan killing 18 and injuring 20. The Afghan Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack and a spokesperson of the militan group said that t Indian, Afghan and African nationals were among the 18 killed in the assault.

Police in Paktia were quoted in the report as confirming the six Indians were killed in the attacks. The channel aired the video on Friday, Jul 10 claiming to have received it from the Taliban.
